My Approach:

I believe in the ability of every individual to find their own answers. We often become stuck in ways of thinking, feeling and relating to others. Our emotional pathways become so well-worn that we may not recognize there are options. My role as a therapist is to act as a facilitator and guide. At times, we need someone who can ask questions from a new perspective and offer support as we gain the insight and skills to figure out a different path.

I integrate relational, attachment-based and cognitive-behavioral approaches to support clients to identify new pathways that can improve their sense of well-being and the quality of their relationships with others. I believe our formative relationships early in life have profound impact on how we relate to others and how we feel about ourselves in the present. I believe that improving our relationship requires both insight and new skills.
